Charente Limousine

Welcome to the Charente Limousine situated between the Atlantic and the hills of the Limousin. With its widely spaced towns, our countryside offers views of "true nature".

From market towns to villages, country roads and tracks entice you to ride, cycle, mountain bike, ramble and enjoy the watersports of this area with its rolling hills and woods, meandering rivers, streams and brooks.

History has lefts its prints here : Chassenon, gallic market then gallo-roman place of worship, the castle of Saint Germain de Confolens, witness to feudal squabbles, the castles of Rochebrune ("Brown Rock"), Peyras, Nieuil...., the priory of Chatelars...., without forgetting the international folklore festival in Confolens, the Vitrac Saint Vincent music festival, the lakes of Haute Charente and the gastronomic route.

A superb region which offers numerous outings and outstanding produce.
